6th Grade Study Skills
Welcome to Study Skills!
For the 2017-2018 school year, all 6th grade students will take a one quarter Study Skills class with myself, Mrs. Rollins, or Mr. Harris. The Study Skills class comprises one quarter of the 6th Grade Elective Wheel, which also includes Art/Design, Creative Writing, and Computer Skills. Over the course of the entire year, students will have all four of these classes, each of which is held on "B" days and lasts one quarter.
In Study Skills, students learn organizational skills crucial to middle school and beyond, focus on note-taking techniques, and collaborate with their peers to practice new learning techniques. Students must bring their Binder Reminders to class every day as the class focuses on planning, goal setting, and staying organized.
